In the beginning of the year we received a bit of nice news when Steve got a promotion. He’s incredibly content with the new job, and he reckons that the organisation might be fast-tracking him to becoming a head of department.
This will be superb.
Particularly given the current financial downturn. I am only in the office two days a week these days, so I am hardly earning big bucks. But I need the extra time off, and no mistake! The boys take a lot of looking after, and needless to say I’ve got the tidying up to do. And that is a job which never ends.
The house got a new bathroom during June, which was overdue I think. We had the guys in for a long time sorting it out, and it is marvellous.
If only the garden was in equally fine shape, it really needs a bit of care. However I am hardly green-fingered, therefore I’ll let it be.
The repair we had done on the chimney was costly, however it would seem to be successful.
One would hope we won’t need to do anymore repairs any time soon.
This year was an excellent year for George. He’s doing really well in high-school and actually joined the orchestra! Now he does not need to do hockey, which he’s thrilled about.
It wasn’t ever quite his favourite. Too much exercise isn’t good for you, he maintains.
I must admit that I completely concur.
Whereas Nathan is quite the other way, he’s always playing tennis.
It’s incredible the amount of energy he has, especially due to the fact that he always refuses to eat adequately. He would seem to be wholly fuelled by chips!
Last summer we went on two family holidays in Norfolk. They proved to be marvellous.
The climatic conditions were marvellous, and this was pleasing, plus the kids were really happy to explore the countryside. We brought the dog with us too, because we consistently rent pet friendly cottages: he adored padding along the seashore, so much better than the town. When we were on vacation we took the chance to try horse-riding, an activity I hadn’t attempted previously.
I’m not exactly proficient, however I’ll go in the future.

The house got a different kitchen during June, and that was about time from my point of view. We had the workmen in for a long time sorting it out, but it is marvellous. Oh that our lawn was in similarly decent condition, it desperately requires some help.
But I am hardly green-fingered, so I shall let it be.
The work we got done on the roofing was dear, but it seems to have been a success. One would hope we will not need to do any more repairs in the near future.
In the beginning of 2011 we got a bit of great news as Steve was promoted.
He is very pleased with the new position, and he reckons that the organization might be fast-tracking him to becoming a head of department. That will be good.
Even more so in the present economic situation.
I am merely working 2 shifts a week now, so I am hardly making a fortune.
Mind you I require the extra time off, and no mistake! The children keep me occupied, and needless to say I’ve got the housework to be getting on with. And that is a task that never ends.
This year was a terrific year for Simon. He is doing incredibly well at school and actually signed up to the debating society! Now he does not need to go to hockey, and that he is very happy about.
That wasn’t ever quite his bag.
Too much running about isn’t good for you, he maintains. I have to say that I totally agree. Whilst Julian is entirely the other way, he’s continually playing rugby. It’s amazing what amount of get-up-and-go he has, especially as he still declines to feed himself appropriately.
He would seem to be totally fuelled by chips!
Last summer we enjoyed 2 family holidays in Norfolk.
They proved to be great. The weather was superb, and this was good, and the boys were tremendously happy to explore the landscape. We brought Eddie with us too, since we consistently stay in pet friendly cottages: he adored padding along the beach, so much more fun than the city. When we were vacationing we grabbed the chance to go surfing, a thing I hadn’t tried before. I am hardly a natural, however I will do it in the future.

In the beginning of the year we got some marvelous news as Dave got a promotion.
He’s extraordinarily pleased with the new position, and he reckons that the organization might be fast-tracking him to becoming a head of department. That would be fantastic.
Even more so in the present financial slump. I am just doing my job three days a week now, so I’m not earning big bucks. However I need the additional time off, I can tell you! The kids take a lot of looking after, and needless to say I have the housework to do. Of course that is a task that never ceases.
Last year we had a couple of family holidays in Norfolk. They were excellent. The climate was wonderful, and this was nice, and the kids were really delighted to experience the landscape.
We brought Goldie with us as well, because we always stay in pet friendly cottages: he really liked padding up the shore, way more fun in comparison to the city. Whilst we were away we seized the chance to go surfing, a thing I hadn’t tried previously. I’m not exactly a natural, but I shall do it in the future.
Our house received a new bathroom in July, and this was about time in my opinion. We’d the workmen in for a long time getting the job done, and it looks superb. O that our garden was in equally good shape, it really needs a little care. However I’m hardly a gardener, therefore I’ll refrain from doing anything stupid. The work we got done on the roof was pricey, but it would appear to have been successful.
I’m hopeful that we will not be obliged to carry out anymore repairs any time soon.
2011 has been a good one for Charlie.
He is progressing exceptionally well at school and even signed up to the orchestra! Now he does not need to play football, and that he’s delighted about. That had never been exactly his favourite. Excessive running about isn’t good for anyone, he says.
I have to say that I completely concur. Whereas Mark is quite the other way, he is forever playing tennis. It’s amazing how much get-up-and-go he’s got, even more so since he always refuses to feed himself adequately. He seems to be totally powered by crisps!

This year has been a terrific one for Neil. He’s doing incredibly well at high-school and even signed up to the orchestra! Now he does not have to go to hockey, and that he is very happy about.
It was never quite his favourite.
Too much exercise isn’t good for anyone, he maintains.
I must admit that I completely agree. While Tom is quite the opposite, he is continually playing hockey.
It’s unbelievable the amount of energy he has, particularly as he still refuses to eat well. He would appear to be entirely fuelled by chocolate!
At the beginning of the year we received some marvelous news as Phil got a promotion. He’s terribly happy with the new position, and he suspects that the corporation might be pushing him to training as a boss. This should be fantastic.
In particular given the existing financial slump. I am only in the office two days a week nowadays, therefore I am not earning a large amount. However I require the additional time off, I can tell you! The kids keep me busy, and obviously I’ve got the housework to do. Of course that’s a job that never ends.
Our house got a new bathroom during July, which was overdue in my opinion. We’d the workies at the house for a long time sorting it out, but it is wonderful.
If only our garden was in equally fine condition, it urgently needs some attention.
But I am hardly green-fingered, so I will let it be. The repair we had done on the chimney was expensive, but it appears to have been a success.
Hopefully we won’t need to conduct any more repairs over the next few years.

Last summer we had 2 family holidays in Norfolk.
They were marvelous.
The weather was glorious, and that was nice, and the boys were really happy to explore the country.
We took Buster with us too, as we always go for pet friendly cottages: he loved running down the seashore, way more fun than the city. While we were away we took the chance to try horse-riding, an activity I’d never attempted previously. I am not exactly proficient, but I will do it again.

When I was a youngster our vacations were a disgrace.
Everyone argued relentlessly, and nobody was pleased in doing the things that the other ones sought to do. My father invariably intended to go to see ancient buildings and history, though I was happier just shut away in the house. Mum was continually worrying about the local cooking and the native animal life. Really, by the time the vacation was over, we needed a break to recover.
On one occasion I traveled on holiday with my partner for a weekend in the Cairngorms. It chucked it down constantly while we stayed there, and each time we ventured out we got drenched. Of course we wound up squabbling with respect to the reason that we had not gone to Ibiza, and the debate turned in to a serious commotion. By the finish of the trip, I was single! That is the sort of stuff that takes place if you organise your breaks poorly. However, it was possibly advantageous in the end: if her and me still went out then we’d probably be bickering with regard to some thing crazy as we speak.
In my opinion, Norfolk holidays are the best. I have been on many holidays in Norfolk and I have constantly had a superb experience. If you like boats, like me, there is no place finer.
Whereas in the event that you love rambles through the countryside then Norfolk’s great as well. I ran in to a fellow from Swaffham whilst I was vacationing in California, and he suggested visiting in the summer. I was pleasantly surprised at how hot the weather is, it is as if you’re on the continent.
After that I’ve visited him roughly one time each summer, plus occasionally he visits Dundee too.
Generally when I am on vacation I go for luxury cottages. They are significantly better in relation to a hotel, since it is possible to cook meals in them. I really like preparing food, therefore I do not like to pass my holidays eating in restaurants.
Generally I endeavour to track down marketplaces from which I can buy natural foodstuffs, such that I am able to try the native specialities. There’s little better than getting vegetables directly from the farmer, and immediately making that into some thing yummy in my personal cottage.

On one occasion I went on vacation with my partner for a few days in the Highlands. It rained relentlessly while we were there, and every single occasion on which we went outside we ended up drenched. Obviously we found ourselves arguing about the reason that we hadn’t gone to Cyprus, and the debate changed into a major dispute. By the end of our trip, I didn’t have a girlfriend! That is the sort of stuff which happens if you organize your holidays badly.
Although, it was conceivably advantageous in the end: if her and I were dating now then we would conceivably be squabbling about some thing pointless right now.
In my opinion, Norfolk holidays are the best. I have gone on plenty of holidays in Norfolk and I’ve always had a great time.
If you like boating, as I do, there’s no place better. And if you enjoy walks in the landscape then Norfolk is ideal too. I bumped into a bloke from Fakenham whilst I was holidaying in California, and he recommended a visit during the summer-time. I was astonished by how sunny the weather was, it was like being abroad. From that day I’ve been down to visit him around once each year, and from time to time he visits Perth too.
Mostly when I am on vacation I stay in luxury cottages.
They are a lot more fun than a hotel, as you’re able to cook food in them.
I really like preparing food, therefore I don’t want to squander my holiday dining out. Frequently I attempt to locate marketplaces from which I am able to get fresh produce, such that I can sample the local specialities. There is nothing more enjoyable than buying veg directly off of the farmer, and subsequently making it into something delectable in my personal cottage.

As I child our holidays were a nightmare. We all bickered all the time, and no one was content doing the stuff that the other ones planned to do. Dad consistently intended to go to see ancient buildings and culture, though I was happiest just hidden away in my bedroom. Mum was constantly fretting with regard to the native cuisine and the local bugs. Really, by the time the holiday was over, we needed a holiday to chill out.

To my mind, Norfolk holidays are the greatest. I have gone on plenty of holidays in Norfolk and I have always had a marvelous time. If you love boating, like me, there’s nowhere better. Whilst in the event that you like walks in the landscape then Norfolk’s ideal as well.
I ran in to a guy from Walsham whilst I was vacationing in Greece, and it was him that suggested a visit in the summertime.
I was pleasantly surprised at how warm the weather is, it was as if you’re overseas.
From that day I have dropped in on him at least once per year, and sometimes he drops in on Stirling too.

One time I went on vacation with my partner for a week in the Highlands. It chucked it down constantly while we were in the area, and every time we went out we ended up dripping wet.
Needless to say we found ourselves squabbling with regard to the reason that we had not gone to Crete, and the argument transmogrified in to a serious ruckus. By the finish of our vacation, I was single! That’s the kind of stuff that takes place if you organise your holidays badly. On the other hand, it was possibly advantageous ultimately: if we still dated then we would undoubtedly be squabbling about something stupid right now.

When I was little the family’s holidays were a disgrace. Everyone fought with tiresome regularity, and no-one was pleased in doing the stuff which the others wanted to do. Dad always planned to engage with archaeological sites and art, but I was happiest just mucking about in the house. Mum was continually anxious about the native food and the local wildlife. Honestly, by the time the holiday had finished, we required time to relax.

By and large if I am vacationing I go for luxury cottages. They are significantly better compared to hotels, since it is possible to cook meals there.

On one occasion I went on vacation with my girlfriend for a fortnight in the Trossachs.
It rained constantly while we were there, and each occasion on which we went out we got soaked. Needless to say we found ourselves bickering about the reason that we hadn’t vacationed in Ibiza, and the argument transmogrified in to a big drama.
By the end of the vacation, I didn’t have a girlfriend! That’s the kind of thing that will happen when you plan your holidays badly. However, it was conceivably advantageous ultimately: if her and me still went out then we would undoubtedly be squabbling with respect to something crazy right now.
